“Folds In Time” is not easy to describe. It’s not a bowl, but it’s not a plate either. It’s something in between. I turned the shape to optimize the grain of this piece of maple, which is amazing. It was part of a knot and has incredible curl. I hope that comes out in the photos. It changes character every time you change your viewing angle. I’m sure you’re going to love it.
Folds In Time is 6 ½ inches in diameter and 2 ¾ inches tall.
The finish is a satin oil and urethane blend. Care involves simply wiping off the dust occasionally.
