Encore is a recent piece measuring about 7 inches diameter by 2 inches tall. It is made of red oak and turned as a shallow bowl with a unique edge treatment. After turning the rollover top lip I burned the design into the thin section and removed the areas you see. This makes the outer ring look to be floating around the outside of the bowl. I then went back and burned the cut edges to the result before you. I hope you enjoy it and want to give it a place in your home.

Care involves simply wiping off the dust occasionally.
