“Eclipse 2017” is a segmented bowl using Zebrawood and Maple in a pinwheel design with a Black Walnut base. It was turned on the day of the eclipse of 2017,and the two pieces of maple represent the jets of the corona during the eclipse. It measures 7 ½ inches around and 3 inches high. It has a semi-gloss finish. Care is simply to dust it off occasionally.
