This bowl is made of Ambrosia Maple and measures about 8 ¾ inches in diameter and is about 2 ½ inches high. This piece of wood came from a log and had an odd shape. This required a bit of compromise in order to make a bowl out of it. Therefore, some sections of the outside were textured and colored after turning to give it a unique character. You can see that in the photos. It has a gloss finish on the inside and stained semi-gloss finish on the outside. I’ll let the photos and video speak for themselves.
